"My name is Thunder Nanie and I am a 34 years young. I am an artist of various mediums that includes photography, painter, regalia designer, tattoo designer, and graphics designer. I graduated from Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2008 from the Graphic Design program.
I first started drawing at a very young age and I remember my favorite things to draw were animals and landscapes…horses, deer and birds mostly. I am a nature girl and love the outdoors! As a sister of eight brothers and 3 sisters, I have had influences from three of my talented older brothers Raven, Blue-Jay and Aaron. I looked up to them because they worked on art all of the time, plus they have experience with base guitar/guitar & drums, which was always cool too! When I was in my last years of High School, my dad has always geared me to continue pursuing my natural talents as an artist. Which is exactly what I’m doing! In the past I have won a few art contests. I created a logo for my friend for his music studio called Lake Street Studio in Brimley, MI. I created a logo for my sister-in-law for her homemade soaps and lotions called The Soap Faerie. As an on-going artist, I create custom tattoo/regalia designs, paintings and logos. I am currently working on 2 paintings, a few tattoo designs. I love creating art! It’s something I am passionate about & I will always continue in my life’s journey!" |
